>the gel-kayano sneaker draws inspiration from different gel-kayano designs and the milestones that influenced the series’ 30-year history.we started with the gel-kayano sneaker for this silhouette’s base construction and modified its upper with various materials and badge details that were taken from various eras of the gel-kayano timeline.this rendition features two different colorways that celebrate the franchise’s 30th anniversary. one is rendered with asymmetric coloring that represents iconic colorways from the gel-kayano archive. the other highlights our frequent use of silver throughout the shoe’s chronology, while 3m accents emphasize the design’s technical origins.
